Our dear friend and food blogger, Anouck Grau, paid a short but sweet visit to The Handloom HQ this week. Along with her, she brought good energy and her amazing cooking skills. When she told us she wanted to prepare a meal for us, we all looked at each other with pure excitement, as we knew we were about to indulge in a special treat.
She took a quick trip to the local market with no agenda or menu set. As she trailed through the isles she grew inspired by a jar of cheap black olives and the rest of the meal took shape.
She prepared a delicious olive tapenade on cucumber and a strawberry-infused salad. The results were mouth-watering.
As always, no meal is complete without the right table set-up, so we quickly grabbed one of our Earthy Towels in Natural and used it as our tablecloth. The atmosphere in the office transformed from our usual intense workflow to a casual lunch with friends.
We highly recommend setting aside an hour or so at least once a week to experience a healthy meal with the people who make the dream happen along side you.
